Sophisticated Modern Living
This small front room was designed for cozy conversation, and weekly game nights. It borrowed the leather loveseat from the great room, but otherwise sports all new pieces and some striking contemporary art acquired. The palette of taupes, blacks, ivory, and golds is sophisticated, never stuffy.
About the Client
A successful pediatrician and his wife, they have two soon to be teenagers. The family enjoys movies together and both the husband and wife are avid cooks. In addition, the doctor is a wine enthusiast and collector, and grows his own vegetables. They wanted family friendly contemporary design.
